Star is my first American Eskimo Dog. Because of her, I've fallen in love with the
breed. At the young age of just eight weeks, she started obedience training.
In five minutes, she learned the meaning of "sit". It took me another five minutes
to teach her the "down" command. She has also excelled in the conformation ring
bringing home 3 Best Female ribbons in her first 3 UKC shows. The next 3 shows,
she brought home 2 Best of Breed wins and a Champion of Champion win to obtain her
Champion title and give her 2 legs towards her Grand Champion title. After which,
we decided to enter into the AKC ring where she took a Best of Opposite Sex title her
first weekend out to give her a 5 point major!
I'm very proud of Star and her accomplishments. She is a pleasure to show and
also a prized companion in our home.
CHAMPION LALYNN TONKA TOY
(TONKA)
12" TOY MALE
Photo posted with permission of Downey Photography -- Copyright protected
Tonka is my little "lover boy". His main goal in life is to make everyone his friend.
He's a little charmer with a gorgeous coat, nice compact little body and personality
to boot. He possesses a great show presence walking around the ring like he's having
the time of his life. Tonka was able to obtain his UKC Championship title in just 6
short months (less the 5 pts he arrived with) of limited showing with the handicap of
a handler (me) who had no idea of what she was doing.
Tonka's "game for anything" attitude accompanied by his overwhelming eagerness
to please make him a wonderful show dog as well as a great family pet. He is a LOT
of dog in a very small package. A special thanks to Lori of Lalynn Reg'd for sending
me this little bundle of joy and for introducing me to the show world.

STAKER'S COTTON CANDY
(CANDY)
12.5" MINI FEMALE (retired)
Candy is the sweetest and most mellow American Eskimo I have ever met. Her
first show, at the tender age of six months and one day, she acquired a Best of
Winners win (losing to North-Star's own "Star" in the Best of Breed competition).
She has a fabulous coat and a face that could steal anyone's heart.
Despite her accomplishments, the true happy-go-lucky Candy would say, "Leave the bright
lights and glamour to those other dogs. Life's greatest treasures can be found
lying (upside-down, of course, legs sprawled) on someone's lap or at the foot of a
soft, warm, cozy bed. THIS is the life for me!"
CHAMPION NORTH-STAR'S ALL THAT JAZZ
(JAZZIE)
11.5" TOY FEMALE
Jazzie was born in our home on August 2, 1999. She is full of spunk and a real zest
for life. She has a terrific outlook and thinks of the world as a playground and
everything as a toy for her to play with, begging and pleading for everybody to join
in on the fun! She also has the ability to turn off all of the energy and hold
perfectly still for grooming and is a wonderful little cuddler.
NORTH-STAR'S PIXIE DUST
(PIXIE)
11.5" TOY FEMALE
Optigen Pattern A - Normal/Clear
For Optigen info click here
Pixie is our newest family member and a great addition. She loves to romp and play with
the other dogs and gets along very well with all of them. She somehow manages to get even
my older dogs involved in playtime.
Both sides of Pixie's pedigree have very thick, beautiful coats
which have been passed on down to her. Graceful movement with a nice reach
make her a great show prospect. We have high hopes for her in the show ring.
